Located within 3 acres of grounds in the picturesque village of Roden, in Shropshire, Roden Hall provides residential and nursing care for up to 50 elderly people. Roden Hall was originally a fine Victorian house, which has been sympathetically refurbished and extended to deliver exceptional care in a beautiful period building.
The home’s character is complemented by the retention of numerous period features, including high ceilings and intricate plasterwork. Fine original bay windows contribute to a bright and airy atmosphere. The sense of elegant living extends through residents’ bedrooms and the large number of communal rooms, where décor and furnishings are of the standard one would expect for such a fine building. Roden Hall is a very popular home with a strong reputation for providing excellent care. In addition to the fine building and conservatory, residents are able to enjoy the extensive grounds, which comprise a pleasant and tranquil combination of lawns and woodland.
The home offers a full range of residential and nursing care support, including trial stays, respite breaks and convalescent care as well as long term care. Residents are encouraged to bring important personal possessions to personalise their rooms. Roden Hall operates an open visiting policy, where residents and loved ones may visit at convenient times. In common with all of our homes, Roden Hall’s manager has a qualified nursing background. The home is fully registered with the Care Quality Commission and has ISO9001/2000 and Hospitality Assured accreditation.

Life in a Caring Home is viewed as a continuum of life – an opportunity to gain new experiences and learn new things – whilst maintaining your existing hobbies and interests.
At every Caring Home, there is a dedicated activities co-ordinator who is on hand to support residents in learning new hobbies and maintaining existing ones.
An activities programme is developed by the activities co-ordinators who work in conjunction with the clinical team in reviewing each individuals occupational interests and tailoring an activities programme that addresses them.
