Latham Lodge looked after my dad with the highest level of care and dignity. I am confident that he would have got no better care anywhere else.
I cannot imagine a better place for a relative to go when they need this level of care. The manager is an absolutely wonderful person, who very clearly believes that those in her care matter.
The care, kindness and love she received from all the staff was exemplary. As a family, we cannot speak highly enough about the wonderful treatment she received.
We consistently apply infection control procedures and services that meet or exceed the requirements and expectations of our customers.

Meet the ManagerFind out more about Latham Lodge Care Home’s Manager, Carol Taylor
Carol is our Home Manager at Latham Lodge Nursing Home, here's a little bit more about the home in her own words:
I am passionate about ensuring all that can be done, is done, to ensure everyone within our home has the best possible care we can give, they are treated with dignity and respect, and I believe that engaging with other professionals to promote and support residents’ needs, whatever they may be, is important.
I enjoy a challenge and love to support colleagues to develop their full potential, which improves job satisfaction whilst ensuring the best quality care for residents at Latham Lodge. I am very much a people person, and use the skills I have gained throughout my career to promote and support well-being for all. Listening to others is essential to ensure people feel valued – team members, visitors to the home and most importantly residents in our care.

Our Head Chef and the team have many years of cooking experience. They craft their nutritionally balanced menus using seasonal produce, and are guided by the feedback provided to them from our residents during their monthly hospitality meetings and individual care plans.
All members of our care teams are given the training and support needed to help them provide the highest standards of care.
Caring Homes has been providing care across the UK for over 29 years. Every team member receives our unique ‘Living in my World’ dementia training.
It highlights the importance of meaningful activities and a stimulating environment for people living with dementia, as well as addressing clinical aspects of care.
The ‘Food in my World’ training provides the hospitality team and chefs with the skills and knowledge to stimulate senses and increase creativity in the cooking and presentation of food. This can provide a much-improved dining experience for residents living with dementia and or dysphagia.
The length of time people spend in a care home varies according to their needs and preferences. At Latham Lodge, we offer permanent care to suit your needs or perhaps a respite stay might be required during a period of convalescence after being in hospital. Day Care is also available at many homes to ensure care can continue when a regular carer is unavailable.
