Tall Trees come together for National Care Home Open Day

Tall Trees Nursing Home in Shipton under Wychwood celebrated National Care Home Open Day with many residents and relatives visiting and joining the open day.

The home had put together a day with a Jumble Sale, Tombola, Cake Stalls and Raffles Prizes to raise money for their Activity funds which was a great success. There was a BBQ put on by our chef and care team and live entertainment that was enjoyed by all. Everyone sang along with the music of 60’s and 70’s with a few getting up to dance and tap their toes.

The whole event was full of fun even the care team had a chance to join in and enjoy the time with the residents. The children were not forgotten, as outdoor games such as basketball hoops, boules and skittles were put out in the gardens to burn off their energy. Not to mention the cute bunnies that were being held, stroked and cuddled, and the chickens that could be viewed outside in the garden.

Thank you to everyone that attended and made the day a success!
