Pianist Alan Poulton wows Coxhill Manor

Residents gathered at Coxhill Manor, Chobham, in the conservatory on December 22nd at 2pm to welcome back pianist Alan Poulton to our home. Alan is a familiar face here at Coxhill Manor and is much loved by our residents.

Alan kept us all thoroughly entertained for over an hour as he took us on a trip down memory lane when he played some of our favourite tunes and took requests making it a really personalised event. Alan plays tunes from all genres of music, ensuring there is something for everyone and has a great connection with our residents and he certainly knows how to work his audience. Not only is he a very talented musician but the music was interspersed with lots of personable chatter, laughter and discussions with our residents.

We are very lucky to have our own piano here at Coxhill Manor which is situated in the conservatory and Alan gladly uses in his performance. Just a man and his musical talent, no gimmicks or props.  Sometimes the simple things are the most beautiful and we are looking forward to his next visit as he will be back by popular demand.

If there are any friends or relatives out there who would fancy showcasing their piano playing skills here at Coxhill Manor, we would be delighted to welcome you to our home and would love to hear from you as our residents really enjoy any musical events we hold here.
