Gain an insight into dementia.
At Tall Trees in Shipton under Wychwood, we provide specialist and personalised dementia care for elderly people in a safe and friendly home. We are part of Caring Homes which has developed a unique dementia training programme, ‘My World’ comprising of three levels, accredited by City & Guilds and recognised in the first Princess Royal Training Awards. The entire team at Tall Trees, from care, reception, chefs to housekeeping receives our ‘Living in My World’ training, giving them an understanding of the condition and how to make a positive impact on the people in our care.We believe everyone should have an awareness of dementia to recognise what life is like for those living with the condition and understand how loved ones can be affected and supported.
