East Hill House at Puss in Boots

This week some of the Residents at East Hill House joined our Manager and Deputy to watch the Local ‘Amdram’ society, Winton Players, production of Puss in Boots.

This was the tale of Jack and Jill’s cat ‘Puss’. When the nasty ogre Grimgrab threatens to take over the village and marry the Princess Esmerelda, good fairy Priscilla steps in and sells Jack some magic boots for Puss, which transform him into a talking cat. It’s up to Puss to help his master defeat Grimgrab and win the Princess’ hand in marriage against all odds…

Winton Players produced a great performance getting the audience involved, the residents loved the dazzling costumes and the dame ‘Queen Wendy’ and the three mice running around the audience. This was a wonderful afternoon that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

We even won a raffle prize of Chocolates to share with those unable to attend.

We look forward to next year’s performance!
