Brushstrokes and Beehives at Bradbury House

The residents of Bradbury House welcomed a talented caricature artist to the Braintree home recently for a day of laughter and creativity.

This was a new experience for many of the residents and they were queuing up to have their own memento of the entertaining day. All of the ladies had their hair done especially for the drawings; with the styles including a fantastic fifties ‘beehive’. The satirical sketches have since taken pride of place in residents’ bedrooms and in the main lounge areas for visitors to enjoy.

Located in the heart of the historic town of Braintree, Bradbury House was the very first home in the Caring Homes family. The home dates in part from the 17th Century and, following a comprehensive and sympathetic conversion, retains many original features whilst providing an outstanding residential care setting. Bradbury House enjoys an enviable reputation for delivering the very highest standard of residential care in a homely environment for up to 21 elderly people.
