Bradbury House celebrates the queens birthday
Posted on Friday 17th June
Bradbury House in Braintree, Essex, had an open day and celebrated the Queen’s birthday this week. Due to the poor weather the planned garden party had to be moved indoors to continue the celebrations.
Residents at Bradbury House Enjoyed an afternoon with Night Al singing old time favourite songs, whilst the care team dressed up in 60’s dresses and the lounge was decorated with union jack bunting and red, white and blue balloons.
Throughout the afternoon the residents enjoyed a quintessential British day with scones with clotted cream and strawberries, and they also enjoyed a glass of Pimms to end entertainment.
Residents then enjoyed a buffet tea with a selection of England’s best; sandwiches, sausage rolls, mini scotch eggs, pork pies and a selection of crisps followed by a selection of cakes. A good time was had by all.
