Walstead meet Matthew Goodgame

Last weekend the residents of Walstead Place care home in Haywards Heath were treated to a show that was put on in their local hall for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The show was produced by Matthew Goodgame who was the winner of the Channel 4 series Musicality, since then he has been in a number of musicals and traveled to perform. Matthew is the star and manager of the group called the Spinettes who are a group of London West End performers who do this little show all around the country raising funds for Alzheimers Society. They have an amazing repertoire of 1940’s/ 1950’s sounds which our ladies and gents loved.

It was so great and very interactive we all loved it especially Evelyn.

Walstead Place Care Home in Haywards Heath is a magnificent 19th century country squire’s residence, sensitively converted to provide the highest standard of residential care for up to 43 elderly residents. The home itself is located in the quietly beautiful hamlet of Walstead, just a mile from Lindfield.
