More than Twelve Days Of Christmas at Mill House

Never mind the twelve days of Christmas, residents of Mill House care home in Chipping Campden have been enjoying a month filled with seasonal activities during December.

Activities Coordinator, Dominika Soboczynska has been dubbed the Activity Elf as she’s been so busy making sure everyone gets into the festive spirit!

The packed programme started on 2nd December with a nostalgic Christmas session, swiftly followed by Christmas songs and carols from a visiting entertainer on 5th December and the turning on of the lights on 6th. Many residents also visited the Angels festival at the church on 7th and 8th, rounding off the week with mince pie making and a Christmas party with friends and relatives.

Before the big day itself arrives – complete with turkey and all the trimmings, home-cooked by the catering team – residents and the care team will be enjoying the delights of Ruby’s Christmas gig, and other themed events.

Mill House provides residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 45 residents who come for long-term care, trial stays, short stays and convalescent care.

Kim Mulford, Home Manager at Mill House, said:
“We love Christmas at Mill House and are making the most of the entire season with everything from decorations and baking to a great sing-song and visits out in the community. Everyone is involved and having a great time.”
