The Air Raid Jivers visit Bradbury House

Bradbury House in Braintree welcomed back the Air Raid Jivers.

The residents were really happy to see the Air Raid Jivers again, and this time round for the residents amusement they got the staff up dancing with them!

They are an authentic period act wearing clothing from the war. The residents and care team enjoyed samples of all different types of dancing from the 1940’s including American Swing and British Dance Bands. The residents relived their golden years as they participated whether it was getting up to dance with the staff and the troupe, or just singing a long to the much loved songs from their youth.

To finish the afternoon off we had a war time singalong, waving flags and remembering the classics such as Vera Lynn! The ladies love seeing what outfits they will come in next! A success all round.

We look forward to seeing you again soon!
