Statement from East Hill House

Caring Homes have become aware of a building issue in a confined space at East Hill House, our award-winning home in Liss.

As a precautionary measure and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our residents and colleagues we have taken the decision to move 22 residents with immediate effect from East Hill House to Blenheim Court one of our sister homes just a few minutes away in Liss.

We would like to provide assurances that all residents are safe and are being well looked after during the move to Blenheim Court and that the move will be a temporary measure whilst we remedy the building at East Hill Hill House.

We take the health and wellbeing of our residents very seriously and have made this decision promptly to ensure the safety of all concerned.

We will provide an update when we have greater visibility of the remedial works required however in the meantime should you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the home via the Home Manager.

Yours sincerely
