Pygmy goats visit Bradbury House
Recently, residents at Bradbury House Care Home had a visit from baby Pygmy Goats where they were able to hold them and have a cuddle.
There are a number of positive benefits for our residents to be around animals, being able to hold and stroke them can be especially beneficial for someone who has lost some communication skills. As the animals like the extra attention and nothing needs to be said to enjoy it.
All residents enjoyed themselves and had a lovely morning finding out about them.
Bradbury House provides residential care in a 17th Century converted building for up to 20 elderly people.
