Latest CQC report finds Cranmer Court ‘good in all areas’

Cranmer Court care home in Warlingham, Surrey has been rated as providing a ‘good’ care service in all areas, according to its latest inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Cranmer Court was given a ‘good’ overall rating by inspectors, for providing a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led care service.

The report praised Cranmer Court in its Overall Summary, and noted: “One person said ‘If you have to leave your home to be somewhere else, this is the place to be. I feel as if they treasure me’.”

The report continued: “People told us care staff treated them with dignity and they felt safe." going on to say that "People were provided with homemade, freshly cooked meals each day and facilities were available for staff to make or offer people snacks at any time during the day or night.”

The report summary went on to say: “People were treated with kindness, compassion and respect. We observed positive interactions and it was evident people enjoyed talking to staff. People were able to see their friends and families as they wanted and there were no restrictions on when people could visit or leave the home.”

All of our staff, residents and families work well together to support each other, so it is great to receive positive comments about this in the CQC’s report.”
