‘My Way’ – Frank and Friends comes to Tall Trees

This afternoon, residents at Tall Trees enjoyed Interactive musical entertainment with JJZ Productions at their home in Shipton-under-Wychwood.

JJZ Productions are regular visitors to Tall Trees and change their performance regularly so it stays fresh and exciting. Our residents love James, the singer and eagerly look forward to his arrival and anticipate what performance he will put on for them.

This time he came with a show called “Frank and Friends” which celebrates the music of Frank Sinatra and his contemporaries. He played a lot of Sinatra songs that the residents know and love so they could join in and sing along too.

We also had relatives joining us and of course the team, so it was a great session and everyone enjoyed themselves very much.

At the end of the show, as it was this time of year, we served home made Halloween creepy cakes and blood drinks (not the real thing!) that the kitchen kindly prepared for us.

Roxana Scrobanet, Activities Coordinator said:
“I would like to thank James (JJZ Productions) for coming and entertaining our residents at Tall Trees. It’s been a lovely afternoon and the residents loved him. The show was blissful and created a positive environment for everyone. The performer was very interactive with the audience. There were a dozen laughs during the whole show and everyone had big smiles on their faces.”

Everybody had a lovely time and we look forward to welcoming JJZ Productions back soon.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
To Whom it may concern,

RE: A message from the CEO and Clinical Director

At Caring Homes we are following the latest Government advice and stopping visitors to all our homes, except for essential visits by healthcare professionals who will be required to adhere to strict protocols.

We understand that this may be very difficult for families but we are clear in our duty to ensure we protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our Residents and Colleagues as our top priority.

We want you to know that you can contact your loved ones through calls, emails, video and social media and we will support our Residents to view any messages you send over. We are confident that the teams in our homes are doing all they can to ensure that life remains as comfortable and sociable as possible. There will be a full programme of activities delivered by our in-house health and wellbeing teams.

We hope you will understand and support these actions and any further subsequent measures we might need to put in place.

Yours sincerely
