Ivy Court supports Macmillans Coffee Morning

Ivy Court Nursing Home in Norwich, today held a coffee morning in support for Macmillans Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning.

The coffee morning was really successful with lots of families attending, we also welcomed in a number of visitors from the local area. Families were very generous with the decorated cakes they donated for the charity and a few family members also helped with teas and coffee on the day.

The “Spot the Cake” competition was won by one of our residents. She could not believe her luck, she said she never wins anything.

It was really good morning for some of our resident to get together for a tea and cake.

These days are great for the residents at Ivy Court as it brings them together with friends, family and the local community providing them with a sense of belonging and with the addition of raising money provides as sense of accomplishment and self worth, giving back to the community.

We are very proud to say we managed to raise £140 for Macmillan, and would like to say a massive thank you for all of your help!
