Heffle Court’s Olympic Festival

Many homes across the Caring Homes Group have embraced the Olympics and have been holding their own unique events to celebrate the Olympics coming to this country.

Heffle Court was the latest home to get behind Team GB this summer. The purpose-built home played host to a week long festival for both the residents and the local community. The week included activities based on international crafts, movement and exercise and menus exploring food from around the world.

The grand finale was an open barbeque to which the local community were invited, along family and friends of Heffle court. Staff member Becky Lynch (pictured) made a fantastic Olympic themed cake to kick off the party.

Located in the East Sussex market town of Heathfield, Heffle Court is a purpose-built care home providing specialist care for 32 elderly residents living with a form of dementia. The home offers a range of care provision from residential to nursing care depending upon the needs of the individual.
