Grace introduces Hulcott to handicraft

One Hulcott resident has been sharing her passion recently as she has introduced the home to the world of emroidery.

Having started when she was nine years old, Grace has been embroidering for more than 80 years and has developed into a very accomlished embroiderer. She has recently been sharing her knowledge and passion with some of her fellow residents by holding classes for those interested in learning a new skill.

Grace also has a large collection of embroidery pictures she has made over the years, and she is pictured with her favourite one, entitled ‘Fairy Godmother’.

Located in the peaceful village of the same name, Hulcott is a 19th Century house providing residential and nursing care for up to 38 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
