Galsworthy House Local Community Events
At Galsworthy House Nursing Home we understand the importance of supporting residents to maintain links with their local communities. That’s why we play an active part in our community. We hold events throughout the year, and work closely with groups, schools and charities to ensure residents continue to enjoy a rewarding social life, and the chance to make new friends and try new things.
Our aim is to put a focus on the community. We want to boost morale and encourage neighbourly togetherness as well as to improve health and wellbeing in the district. Below are details of our upcoming events:

Treasured Memories
Date: Friday 25th March
Time: 11.30am
Before the digital age, memorabilia that held great sentimental value were immortalised in a time capsule for future generations to discover and reminisce over. Time capsules were a treasure trove of their era - buried and in some cases long forgotten - they contained printed memories and keepsakes from that time. Join us for an afternoon filled with lovely memories to help us fill our time capsule. As we enjoy some drinks and nibbles we will select some memorabilia to place in our time capsule for the future generations to open.
