Firtree House welcomes Jaws n Claws

When the residents of Firtree House found out that Elvis would be visiting, there was some excitement at the thought of swinging hips and dazzling jumpsuits…

They were somewhat surprised then when Elvis turned out to be an African bullfrog, who arrived with some of his friends including Buster the tree frog and Edna the bearded-dragon.
Jaws n Claws, an experienced animal handling company based in East Sussex, visited the home with a selection of their ‘stars’ this week, with Alice the royal python proving a hit with some of the residents, whilst others remained slightly sceptical.
Ranger Phil promised to bring a few of his more furry animals with him next time, although these do include Larry the rat and Rosie the tarantula!
Situated in an attractive residential area of Royal Tunbridge Wells, Firtree House has provided nursing care for up to 42 elderly people for over 50 years.
