Easter is underway at Hulcott

At Hulcott nursing home in Aylesbury, Easter preparations are already underway and our regular Arts and Craft sessions are an ideal place to make decorations for our home.

One of our residents, Mary is always the first to volunteer for these sessions and she is determined and confident the home will look its best for Easter (pictured below).

Visitors and relatives to our home have also contributed and filled our wicker basket to make a scrumptious Easter Hamper which will be the winning prize in our annual Easter raffle for our residents.

We’re also ‘crowded with cakes’ and ‘goodies galore’ for Easter as Margaret Smart, the Manager here at Hulcott has been busy whipping up a storm in the kitchen again making cakes.

Everyone benefits when Margaret spends her spare time baking her delicious celebration cakes!

It’s going to be eggs-citing Easter and we can’t wait.  Why not come back to our news area to find out what we get up to.

Margaret is photographed (on the left, together with Resident Mary centre and Deputy Manager Karen Ives).

Hulcott Nursing Home provides the highest standards of specialist nursing and residential care for up to 38 elderly people.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
To Whom it may concern,

RE: A message from the CEO and Clinical Director

At Caring Homes we are following the latest Government advice and stopping visitors to all our homes, except for essential visits by healthcare professionals who will be required to adhere to strict protocols.

We understand that this may be very difficult for families but we are clear in our duty to ensure we protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our Residents and Colleagues as our top priority.

We want you to know that you can contact your loved ones through calls, emails, video and social media and we will support our Residents to view any messages you send over. We are confident that the teams in our homes are doing all they can to ensure that life remains as comfortable and sociable as possible. There will be a full programme of activities delivered by our in-house health and wellbeing teams.

We hope you will understand and support these actions and any further subsequent measures we might need to put in place.

Yours sincerely
