East Hill House shortlisted for two top awards

East Hill House care home was shortlisted for two top awards at the Caring Homes Group Recognition Awards.

With more than 5,500 employees across the group East Hill House beat off stiff competition to be shortlisted as having the Best Residential Team of the Year and care home manager Samantha Booty was a shortlisted finalist in the Manager of the Year category.

The awards were presented at a glittering ceremony hosted at the Grove Hotel in Watford and presented by musician and singer Ronan Keating.

East Hill House care home in Liss, Hampshire provides residential and specialist dementia care for up to 32 elderly residents.

Following a review of over 3,000 nominations received from colleagues and people supported for the awards, Samantha was shortlisted for the top manager award and her team shortlisted in the best residential category.

The judges shared the views of one nomination which stated; “Samantha is a shining example of what a manager should be like. Always happy, always willing to help, an absolute gem.”

Another about the team stated; “It is a great team, bringing a family ethos to East Hill House, making everyone one big family there for each other in the good and bad times of working in health and social care.”

Attended by over 340 guests the evening was a great occasion, with colleagues and business partners coming together to celebrate the very best care and support provided by outstanding people.
