East Hill House residents enjoy a day on the farm

Children from the village nursery joined the residents of East Hill House recently for a trip to local Quarry Farm to welcome some of the recent spring arrivals.

Everyone enjoyed feeding the new lambs, with many of the residents talking to the children and teaching them about the animals. Some of the children were also able to feed the lambs with bottles and with ducks, geese and pigs on hand; there was something for everyone.

The day finished with an extra surprise, as the residents and children were introduced to the six tiny puppies that had recently arrived at the farm, with everyone having a play and a cuddle before they headed home.

Located in the village of Liss, East Hill House provides high quality residential and specialist dementia care for up to 35 elderly people in a unique setting.
