East Hill House joins community for commemorative service

With this year marking 100 years since the First World War, the residents of East Hill House were keen to join their local community for the Remembrance service this week to commemorate the special anniversary. The residents and staff proudly wore their poppies, sang the hymns and joined in the prayers, before taking the opportunity to admire the poppy mural that they had created in collaboration with the local schools, in the lead up to the event. The mural, handmade by the residents, staff and the local schoolchildren, was hung up in the church and mentioned in the moving service. Located in the village of Liss, East Hill House provides high quality residential and specialist dementia care for up to 35 elderly people in a unique setting
