Coffee morning at Ivy Court

Ivy Court held a coffee morning on 10th October, which was put together by our activity coordinator, Summer. We received a few donated cakes as well as some which the staff lovingly made for the morning.

Posters were put up in the local area, we want those from the local area to be involved in the home as it is important for the residents to have a part in the local community.

We were pleased to welcome a man from the community who had seen a poster in the local shop, but it was mostly attended by family of the residents. Over the course of the morning we had about 10 residents and their families join us.

The residents really enjoyed sitting in the coffee shop eating cake, drinking coffee and talking to others. This was a really nice start to the weekend.
