Chilly visitors for Wytham House

Wytham House Nursing Home had a visit from two rather chilly friend this week.

Heythrop Zoo is a private animal training centre not open to the general public, but they do arrange private educational visits by schools and colleges. The residents at Wytham House were lucky to have one of these educational days at their home.

Pringle and Two Spot came to visit, along with their two keepers. The penguins spent time in all of the lounges entertaining residents, family members and staff alike!  Two spot was very much led by his tummy, Pringle enjoyed being petted by all!

It was lovely to see all of the residents so engaged with our visitors.

At Wytham House we offer residential and nursing dementia care provided by outstanding highly-skilled professionals. The wellbeing of our residents is a top priority for all of our team here from reception, carers, and activities to our catering team and we are all committed to making sure that their time spent with us is happy and rewarding, as it is for us too.
