Baby Annabell comes to Bradbury House

A resident at Bradbury House got a new present this week: a “Baby Annabell” to nurse and care for.

Baby Annabell is an interactive doll that cries, gurgles and snores when asleep, just like a real baby.

Bradbury House resident, Win, is a lady living with dementia and can often become anxious as a result of her condition. Cuddling and talking to the interactive doll helps to keep Win calm, and the doll therapy provides a great source of sensory stimulation.

If you would like to find out more about the care provided by Bradbury House, a residential care home in Braintree, you can visit the home’s webpage here.
