Aprils Fools Fun at Heffle Court

Residents, family and staff at Heffle Court had a little April Fools’ Day fun with a special visit from singer & entertainer Felicity who entertained everyone with a repertoire of their old favourites.

Felicity is a regular and welcome visitor to Heffle Court and to make the day even more special, we invited residents’ families to enjoy this musical treat with us.

Samantha Keylock, Activity Coordinator said

“It was such a great day and lovely to have some family members of our residents attending to also enjoy the day with them. We were amazed at some of the dancing skills we saw and they loved hearing tunes they remembered and to dust off their dancing shoes. Even our team got involved, although some claimed they had two left feet”

The special event finished off with a spring indoor picnic tea much to everyone’s delight.

At Heffle Court, we welcome performers and entertainers such as Felicity as they bring such an uplifting experience to all and she has is not only a regular visitor but a friend to our home. Music and dancing is a great way for everyone to bond together. Even though with less mobility can join in by singing and clapping along to the music.
