A wonderful day at Waddesdon Manor

The residents of Hulcott took full advantage of the fine weather recently, packing up their sun cream and picnics to head off to Waddesdon Manor aboard the home’s large minibus.

The National Trust property, built in 1874, provided a stunning backdrop for a day in the sun. The residents enjoyed the gardens in full bloom and the beautifully sculpted topiary birds in the morning, before sitting down to enjoy their picnic lunch prepared by Hulcott’s chef.

After lunch, the group headed to the aviary to enjoy the colourful collection of exotic birds, before stopping off at the gift shop to stock up on souvenirs for loved ones.

Located in the peaceful village of the same name, Hulcott is a 19th Century house providing residential and specialist nursing care for up to 38 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
