Walstead Place resident tees off

In line with the Caring Homes philosophy of providing everyone with the opportunity to continue to live life to the full, the staff team at Walstead Place are dedicated to supporting their residents in continuing with their hobbies as well as trying new activities.

Resident Lorna had been an avid golf player for many years and had regularly played a ‘round’ with her friends at clubs around West Sussex. Unfortunately, a period of ill health meant she stopped playing for a while, but the team at Walstead Place encouraged Lorna to take her hobby up again at the home.

Having recently given it a go, she discovered that she hasn’t lost her touch and soon remembered what a lovely way it was to spend an afternoon.

Located just a mile from Lindfield, Walstead Place is a 19th Century former country squire’s residence, sensitively converted to provide residential and nursing care for up to 41 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
