Rectory House rolls out the stars and stripes

Friday 4th July could only mean one thing, Independence Day celebrations!

The stars and stripes were out in Sompting as the residents of Rectory House celebrated the traditional American holiday in some style.

A gazebo was erected in the garden and decorations included the Statue of Liberty, dollar bill serviettes and an American flag tablecloth. Traditional American snacks were also on offer in the form of blueberry muffins and doughnuts as the residents sat in the sun and listened to a variety of music from ‘across the pond’.

Situated in the village of Sompting, Rectory House provides residential and nursing support for up to 41 people.
