Nature Day at Mount Pleasant

The staff team at Mount Pleasant work hard to put on a wide range of activities for their residents’ enjoyment, in line with the Caring Homes ‘Living’ programme.

This week saw the residents given the opportunity to be at one with nature, as they took part in a variety of group activities in the café bar including making bird feeders, planting seeds and painting pictures.

Later on in the afternoon, the staff and residents enjoyed going out into the garden and putting up the bird feeders they had made, what a lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon!

Located on the edge of Burton-on-Trent, Mount Pleasant is a modern care home providing residential and specialist dementia care for up to 50 elderly people.
