Marchglen residents enjoy a rock n roll evening with The King

A group of ladies from Marchglen care centre recently enjoyed a night packed full of Rock ‘n’ Roll with performances from two brilliant Elvis impersonators.

The Elvis fans said the hour-long bus trip to Perth Concert Hall was well worth it, with one of the group, Margaret, lucky enough to have a picture taken with one of the impersonators.

The two impersonators each had a solo performance slot which made up the two halves of the show, which also included a duet from both Elvis’s of the hit single “Suspicious Minds”.

The concert included a fantastic live band with a full brass section and four backing singers who added to the guitars, drums and keyboards. At nearly two and a half hours, the sold out crowd got their money’s worth and the ladies of Marchglen returned to Alloa happy.

Located in Fishcross, Alloa and enjoying wonderful views over the Ochil Hills, Marchglen is renowned for providing care of the very highest standard. The state of the art facility comprises four houses, each specializing in different areas of support. The Centre was recently recognised for its quality of care when it won the Specialist Care Provider category at the annual Scottish Care Awards.
