Ivy Courts Bookworms

This week the residents at Ivy Court care home in Norwich travelled into the city of Norwich for an afternoon at the Millennium Library. Some residents used the opportunity to meet up with friends and relatives and explore the city, whilst others helped the team get our monthly supply of books.

Following on from our last library endeavour audiobooks around the home have become popular. So we set about with our list of requests to find recordings of our residents favourite authors, stories and narrators.

We rounded the trip off with a browse around the volunteer fair and the gift shop. Finally we regrouped at the Café Bar Marzano, where everyone enjoyed a cup of their favourite hot drink. For Joan this happened to be a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows!
