Flower Arranging at Oaken Holt

At Oaken Holt, one of our popular weekly activities is flower arranging which takes place in the nursing dining room conservatory and it was a particularly sunny day this week.

The residents love the chance to bring the outside in! As an activity this is perfect for most of our residents,  it doesn’t need much hand eye coordination and they are able to put as much creativity into their arrangements as they want.

The residents create many different colourful display to be admired in reception, the main foyer and the dining rooms at Oaken Holt. They like to discuss which colours go well together and try to identify all of the different flowers they are working with and happily advise each other on the displays.

The residents enjoyed their session and look forward to next week.
