Firtree House celebrates fabulous cake creations

Sunrise cupcakes and mocha cake proved to be the perfect treat for the residents of Firtree House when they invited members of the local community to take part in a baking competition at the Royal Tunbridge Wells home.

The bake-off style event saw a number of wonderful creations made especially for the occasion, with Serena Ayres’ mocha cake winning one of the categories. Laura Charlton-Jones also won her category with her sumptuous sunrise cupcakes and homemade lemon curd, whilst the children’s cupcakes round was won by Emily and Hannah Smith.

The competition proved to be a great event and was enjoyed by the residents, staff, relatives and the local community.

Situated in an attractive residential area of Royal Tunbridge Wells, Firtree House has provided nursing care for up to 42 elderly people for over 50 years.
