Ferfoot Summer Fete complete success

More than £300 was raised by Ferfoot Care Home at its Summer fete earlier this month.

Around 50 people attended the event, with £320 raised for the Residents Activities Fund by staff and residents on the day (Saturday 18 July 2015). There were various stalls selling bric-a-brac, books, face painting, a wine or water stall, soak the staff, plus a mojito’s and beer stall (for over 18’s only).

A spokesperson for Ferfoot Care Home, said: “All of our care team attending the summer fete wore football shirts to add to the fun, and a great day was had by all who attended. The BBQ food was very well received too!”

Ferfoot Care Home provides residential dementia care for 52 people and is considered to be one of the top specialist dementia care homes in the county. Once a large family home, built from Wiltshire stone in 1902, Ferfoot has been sympathetically converted and extended to deliver high quality care in a beautiful ‘homely’ environment.
