Cranmer Court enjoy an outing to Selsdon Library

Residents from Cranmer Court recently enjoyed an outing to Selsdon Library. They travelled in Cranmer Court’s mini bus on a beautiful sunny day.

The library staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The residents spent time looking through various books to decide which ones to borrow – unfortunately we forgot to bring our wheelbarrow to carry them in!

Interests were extremely varied, and we left with books on subjects including sign language, sport, local history and even a suspense thriller for the more adventurous reader!

We finished our trip with a well-earned cup of coffee in the Jubilee Centre, along with a slice of cake or two. Everyone had a lovely morning and we hope to be returning to Selsdon Library again soon.
