Coxhill residents set sail on Swingbridge Community Boat

A number of residents from Coxhill Manor braved the elements and took to the waterways this week as art of their wide-ranging activities schedule. The group of residents enjoyed a relaxing couple of hours aboard the Swingbridge Community Boat, which set off from Dapdune Wharf in Guildford and headed along the River Wey to St Catherine Dock, before heading back to Dapdune Wharf. Resident Frances Cox was very grateful for the ‘The lady driving and the two gentlemen assisting were very kind. They were very attentive and explained the history of the local area and the improvements going on along the river. It was lovely to be out and about in good company.’ Located on the outskirts of Chobham, Coxhill Manor provides residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 60 elderly people.
