Zoolab menagerie entertain Moorlands residents
The residents of Moorlands care home welcomed some rather unusual visitors to the home this week as they spent an afternoon in the company of ‘Zoolab’. The live animal-handling workshop brought with them a menagerie of animals for the residents and staff at the Surrey home to meet and pet.
With others somewhat hesitant, one brave resident in the group volunteered to hold the snail, the cockroach and the snake, saying that if she had been allowed to hold the tarantula, she would have held that as well!
Moorlands care home is a grand Edwardian property that provides the highest standards of residential, nursing and palliative care for up to 40 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
