Wytham House go Dotty for Children in Need

The team at Wytham House in Farmoor went dotty this week to help raise funds for Children in Need.

Members of our team got dressed up in funky spotty items and held a ‘Bake Sale’ as part of their fundraising activities, as we are all keen supporters of this annual fundraiser.

Our team and residents went about their day in what we all thought were incredibly fashionable outfits and which brought many a smile (and a chuckle or two!) by the visitors to our home. Energy levels were kept up by tucking in to the delicious cakes that were kindly baked by our catering team and visitors all in support of a great cause.

Together we are proud to announce we raised over £40 for ‘Children in Need.’

Koren Evans-Slade, Home Manger commented:
“Children in Need is a great cause and so we donned our ears, did our thing and got our bake on, all in aid of helping change young lives across the UK.”We love to get involved in fundraising activities and we are looking forward to this event becoming an annual tradition.”

“It is very important to us and our residents to be involved with and support our community. As long as they continue to fundraise for Children in Need and other worthwhile charities, we will support them and we are very proud to have played a small part.”
