World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at Gildawood Court

Gildawood Court in Nuneaton, held a Macmillan Coffee morning, organised by our Activities Coordinator Marie and assistant Kat on 27th September.

A variety of delicious cakes were kindly baked by kitchen and activity staff, friends and relatives. The table was packed with mouthwatering Victoria sponges, chocolate cakes, butterfly cupcakes and coffee caramel bakes.

Relatives, friends and the general public supported us and came to join in the fun and the cakes!  The morning was a big success with lots of community spirit and we raised £40.10 for Macmillan.

At Gildawood Court we are proud to support a charity such as Macmillan.  It was a great opportunity for our residents to come together with friends, family and the local community giving them the sense of belonging. With the addition of raising money for such a great cause as well, also provided a real sense of accomplishment and self worth.

We would like to say a big thank you to all that came and to our team at Gildawood Court for their support in creating a lovely morning.
