Valentines Day dance and High Tea at East Hill House

Valentines Day was a big celebration at East Hill House this year and residents enjoyed an afternoon of live music from Charlotte Millchamp. The residents almost immediately took to the floor and began dancing, which was truly lovely to see. Residents danced with one another and with members of staff throughout the afternoon as Charlotte sang some truly wonderful songs. East Hill House encourage residents to participate in as many activities as possible to help with their wellbeing.

After residents had worked up an appetite, they sat and enjoyed a wonderfully delicious lunch time spread. They enjoyed a beautiful High Tea with a glass of wine, all in such high spirits after a lovely afternoon of music and dancing.

“This was a wonderful afternoon which was thoroughly enjoyed by all,” said Samantha Booty, Home Manager; “It was great to see so many of our residents up and dancing while smiling the entire time. Everyone enjoyed the spread and wine after the music, which finished the afternoon off nicely. At East Hill House we recognise the importance of engaging our residents in lots of different activities, but dancing and music are always firm favourites!”

A big thank you to dedicated staff member, Angie, for all her hard work in producing such lovely spoils from the kitchen, and to all care staff who participated and dressed especially for the occasion.
