Tall Trees Visit Woodway Farm

Residents at Tall Trees enjoyed a trip out this week to see the lambs and horses at Woodway Farm.

They had a lovely time feeding the lambs with a bottle, petting them, playing with Munchie (the dog) and admiring the beautiful race horses.

As it was a bit cold, we all sat in the barn and enjoyed a warming cup of tea while sitting on hay bales. They all discussed what animals they liked, how they enjoyed feeding the lambs and the local wildlife.

Roxana Scrobanet – Activities Organiser said:

“It was a lovely afternoon for everybody and they all enjoyed being outside, meeting the animals and said they would love to visit again. Trips out such as these are a real treat for both our residents and our care team.“

We ended the day picking beautiful daffodils, which were in full bloom and they took their bunches back with them to decorate their rooms and have a memento of their day.
