Tall Trees host a ‘Blue Party’ for Parkinson’s Awareness Week

Today at Tall Trees, we organised a “Blue” Theme Party for Parkinson’s Awareness Week.

We enjoyed live entertainment with Cody who entertained us a selection of 60’s songs. We had blue snacks and blue lemonade for the residents and care team and we also held a raffle with many prizes.

We are proud to say we raised £42 to donate to Parkinson’s Research.

The residents, our care team and Michelle, our Manager all thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.

Gordon, one of our residents who joined the party with his daughter, won a milky chocolate, and said:
“I had a very nice time today. Now I am going to share this with my fellow residents”

Barbara, another resident chose a body lotion for herself and said:
“I am going to spoil myself now! Thank you very much for today. It’s been a lovely afternoon.”

Oana, our RGN said:
“I can’t believe I won! It’s been such a nice afternoon for everybody!”

Michelle Little, Home Manager said:
“It was great to be raising money for such a significant foundation as Parkinson’s Research and entertaining our residents and our care team at the same time.”
