Standon Hall celebrates Easter

Easter is always celebrated in style at Standon Hall and this year was no exception.

The residents enjoyed a special Easter Service on Good Friday, with a member of the local clergy coming to the Stafford home to lead Easter prayers and readings.

After the service residents enjoyed a traditional hot cross bun and a cup of tea whilst discussing topics raised in the service.

Staff member Carol had made and decorated an Easter Tree especially for the occasion, with pretty plastic eggs, Easter chicks and Easter messages for everyone to read.

She also made cones filled with chocolate eggs, which were presented to each resident as a change from one large egg. The residents were very touched Carol had gone to the effort to make the small gifts more personal.

Standon Hall is a quite magnificent manor house, which has been sympathetically converted to provide residential care in the form of fine country living for up to 22 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
