St Georges Day Celebrations at Sundridge Court
Residents and staff at Sundridge Court held a St Georges Day themed day at the home!
As part of the St Georges Day inspired theme, our residents got baking and made some delicious cakes, decorating them with strawberries to represent the red cross of St George. Working together to make a batch of scrumptious cakes can be both a fun activity and can also help with joint mobility through the mixing process.
Activity-based care is a key ingredient for our residents to feel engaged and helps socialisation within the home, plus smells and scents can evoke memories that have a calming and relaxing influence – like the smell of baking.
Our residents also enjoyed some tunes from a fantastic singer called Lloyd Ellery as part of the day’s celebrations – a great time was had by all!
Sundridge Court has 27 ensuite bedrooms, with several of them enjoying views over the delightful, landscaped gardens. The home provides residential and nursing care on a permanent or short stay basis.
