St George’s Day celebrations at Claydon House

The staff and residents of Claydon House were feeling very patriotic recently as they celebrated St George’s Day in style.

The Lewes home was awash with red and white as the staff team laid on a host of activities for the English national day, including: fancy dress, a quiz about St George and an afternoon tea party.

The story of St George was read to the residents over lunch, as they enjoyed some roast beef (with all the trimmings) and trifle to follow. Everyone agreed that they’d had a lovely day, and enjoyed the traditional English fayre immensely.

Providing Residential and Nursing care in Lewes, Claydon House is also equipped to provide Dementia and Nursing Dementia care in its separate specialist Dementia wing.
