Spot the Dog at Magna

At Magna Care Centre in Wimborne, we had a real case of ‘Spot the Dog’ when we welcomed a very special visitor to our home.

One of our residents, Mavis  absolutely adores Dalmation dogs and we knew she would love to get close to a real Dalmation again.

We were therefore thrilled when we discovered a Dalmatian ‘Pat’ dog named Milo living down our lane. As this breed is not so common nowadays who would have thought we would be so lucky to have one living so close by.

At Magna, we love to fulfil our residents wishes and so we arranged for Sophie the owner to bring in Milo in for a visit, which went extremely well.

Mavis was thrilled to bits. Her bedroom has many Dalmatian related items such as quilt cover, dressing gown and lots of soft toys but to get up close and personal to Milo was a real joy. From his happy expression, I think the experience was mutual.

Milo spent some special time with Mavis but our other residents also got to meet him and they loved him too. He was very gentle and friendly and was a real hit with everyone.

We look forward to welcoming him back soon to our home. In fact, Mavis has already requested a repeat visit.
