Scoonie House starts to welcome Spring and celebrates Valentine's Day
This February, it was great to have Scoonie House back to some normality, we were able to welcome some entertainment, host a valentines day party and continue our usual arts and crafts that the residents know and enjoy.
The Valentine’s Day afternoon tea was a hit, with fresh cakes and treats for the residents and staff. It was a great opportunity to spread some love and share flowers with each other. The home were also able to welcome a singer, for some live entertainment. This was met with smiles and fun had by all as they danced all through the afternoon to some loving songs.
There was a flower theme during the arts and crafts sessions this week. The staff and residents potted daffodils, getting ready to welcome spring, as well as having a colour-full time trying their hand at flower arranging
